Breaking New Ground

enVizion Group’s Virtual Reality Training Bus, a fantastic initiative from an organisation that is truly changing lives.I’ve been working with Julie-Ann Lambourne, Christina Togo and the enVizion team for several years and I’m a firm disciple – I’ve never come across an organisation that has had such profound success in engaging with disadvantaged individuals as enVizion.

Now, thanks to $1.3m investment through the Federal Government’s Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS), enVizion has created a purpose-built mobile training facility that uses Virtual Reality technology to provide learners with an opportunity to engage – regardless of their education or literacy level.

It's an innovative way to deliver programs through remote and regional Australia and will enhance what we do as a Training organisation.

The bus will travel to indigenous communities and provide first-hand exposure to the skills needed to work in mining, horticulture, healthcare, construction and agriculture.

It’s a true example of the kind of innovation and spirit our Government is fostering through our new National Innovation and Science Agenda and the Indigenous Advancement Strategy..
